Japanese Costco Exclusive Blister Sells for $7.35k
A sealed blister from the first-ever promos made for the Japanese Costco market, which opened in 1999. These "trade and play" clamshell blisters were produced for Japanese Costco locations, but a few pallets were mistakenly shipped to the US due to a shipping error that swapped English and Japanese inventory. English retail packaging with Japanese product inside.
Origin Source - Year: Costco - 1999
Sales History: One sold at auction in Dec. 2024 for $1,500 hammer ($1,875 with 25% BP), making this sale a ~+292% increase.
