🔵 “Pitch Black” TCG Set and Product Lineup Officially Revealed!

The set will include over 115 cards with six Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, and the ETB promo will be a new Zarude Illustration Rare. 🔵 Pokémon GO Mega Festa Shut Down in Korea After Promo Card Causes Crowd Surge

A Pokémon GO Mega Festa 2026 event in Seoul was shut down on March 1 after an estimated 3,000-5,000 people swarmed the venue to get a promotional Magikarp card. Scalpers quickly listed the promo online for $159-$210 within hours of the shutdown. Serebii owner Joe Merrick suggested the incident could signal the end of promo card giveaways at live events, comparing it to the 2023 Van Gogh Museum Pikachu promo chaos.
🔵 Maryland Card Show Bans Buying/Selling of Sealed Products

Feel Good Gaming, a Maryland-based Pokémon card show, announced a ban on all buying and selling of sealed products currently available at retail, allowing only retired sealed products. The show will also ban gambling-style games (spin the wheel, dice rolls) and mystery packs/boxes, while requiring fan art cards to be clearly labeled. The organizers say the goal is to create an environment focused on the hobby rather than one that feeds the scalping market.
